Helios Apps Labs Website Privacy Policy
Effective Date: July 16, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Helios Apps Labs (“Helios Apps Labs,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you visit our website, heliosappslabs.com (the “Site”). This policy covers the Site only. Our mobile applications are governed by their own privacy policies, available within each app and on its Google Play listing.
1. Information We Collect
The Site is a marketing and informational website. We collect very little information, and only in the following ways:
- Server logs. Like virtually all websites, our web server automatically records standard technical information when you visit, including your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referring URL, the pages you view, and the date and time of your visit. This information is collected for security, troubleshooting, and basic operational purposes.
- Correspondence. If you contact us through a contact form or by email, we receive the information you choose to provide, such as your name, email address, and the contents of your message.
We do not require you to create an account, and we do not collect payment information through the Site.
2. Cookies
The Site uses only minimal, functional cookies necessary for the website to operate, such as session and security cookies set by our content management system. We do not place advertising cookies on the Site, and no third-party advertising networks operate on the Site. You may block or delete cookies through your browser settings; the Site will remain largely usable if you do.
3. How We Use Information
- To operate, maintain, and secure the Site, including detecting and preventing abuse;
- To respond to your inquiries and correspondence;
- To understand Site usage in aggregate and improve our content;
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our rights.
4. No Sale of Personal Data
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
5. Third-Party Services
The Site is operated on infrastructure provided by our web hosting provider, which processes server log data on our behalf under contractual obligations to protect it. The Site may contain links to third-party websites and services, such as Google Play. Those sites are governed by their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their practices.
6. Data Retention
Server logs are retained for a short period, generally no more than 90 days, unless a longer period is needed to investigate a security incident or comply with law. Email and contact-form correspondence is retained for as long as reasonably necessary to handle your inquiry and maintain ordinary business records, typically no longer than 24 months, unless the law requires otherwise.
7. Children’s Privacy
The Site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us at [email protected] and we will delete it.
8. Your Rights and Choices
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you by emailing [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we will respond within the time required by applicable law.
9. Notice to California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)
In the preceding 12 months we have collected only the categories described above: identifiers (such as IP address and, if you contact us, name and email address) and internet activity information (server logs). We collect this information directly from you and from your device, for the purposes described in this policy. We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. California residents may exercise their rights to know, correct, and delete by emailing [email protected]. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
10. Notice to Visitors in the EU, EEA, and UK (GDPR)
Where GDPR or UK GDPR applies, our legal bases for processing are: legitimate interests (operating and securing the Site), your consent where required, and taking steps at your request (responding to your correspondence). You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, and objection, and the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. The Site is operated from the United States, and information you provide is processed in the United States.
11. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised version on this page with a new effective date. Material changes will be highlighted on the Site.
